Labelling Resources - opinions please!
I want to re-label all my baskets with pictures and words as over the last year i have moved them around and the pictures now bear little resemblance to the contents of most of them!! I am not sure whether I should use pictures like the ones below, or set the toys up in a little scene and take a photo of them!!! All advice and opinions greatfully received!! Either leave a comment or e-mail me! Thank you!

These photos look a bit fussy and confusing. How about photo of single object from each box (perhaps the most used or favourite one)set on a plain background.
ReplyDeleteHow about a "control of error" card. A4 (or smaller) laminated sheet kept inside the basket with photo's of the basket contents printed on it. That way at tidy up time they can use the card to help them make sure they put the equipment away in the right basket.
ReplyDeleteBut if the basket contents change regularly this might be a major headache!
I like both these ideas a lot.... the simple pictures would look great and I think that the control card would work especially well with changing contents, the contents are always of one type such as construction materials, so shouldn't be too much of a headache to do!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Jenni
